Mantels
Mantels are one of the most important things when considering the look and feel of your living room. They are often times the centerpiece of the room and so it's vital to pick the right one. We create one of a kind custom live edge mantels with as little or as much character as you would like. We offer any style you would like; live edge, modern, farmhouse, craftsmen, contemporary and more.
We stock a large amount of mantels that you are able to come out and choose from, they range in size and allow us to cut them down to your exact specifications. If you are working with a contractor we are able to use their plans to create the mantle of your dreams.
What is the process like?
1. Mantel Selection
Since we are a full service sawmill we have continuous access to new potential Mantels. When we see a log that would make a good mantel we set it aside in our mantel pile and then we exercise patience. Wood requires time to be dried and that’s what it gets, we let our mantels sit for years so when they can be chosen by you! You can come by and find the perfect mantel for your home.
2. Processing
Once you choose the perfect mantel for your home we will begin processing. Most mantels will take 4-6 weeks to complete once its has been chosen and the deposit has been paid.
We can take your mantel to a finished state or just cut it to size for you to finish at home.
3. Finish and install
Once your mantel has been processed its important to get it finished and installed quickly since space is limited at our shop. We would prefer to have an installation date scheduled when you pay your deposit but just give us a few weeks heads up if the date needs to change. Also we offer install but if you would prefer to install the mantel yourself that is not a problem.
